When you hear the word Trust what do you think of? The meaning of trust according to Webster is to place confidence in, to rely on, or to confide in.
We seem to put trust in people and confide in people that really can’t help us in any way. All we are doing is telling someone our problems and hoping they won’t say anything to anyone.
Who are the people we put our trust in? Your wife/husband, close friend? When we say we trust someone, we are essentially saying we are placing some type of confidence in them. We rely on them and just like the definition says we confide in them. But, yes this is a BIG but, no matter how much we trust someone they may still disappoint us.
We should know that if we put our trust in God we can confide in him and he will always be there.
So here is the million dollar question. Why don’t we trust in God? He says he will take care of us if we trust him. Why can’t we put the same kind of trust that we put in our friends, in the one who can fix everything? The reason is, we can’t wait!! We want a quick fix!

Here is an acronym that I thought says it all. We need to trust in God’s timing and trust him more!!
We have “In God We Trust” on all of our money. So most everyone in the world can see “In God We Trust” but we are far from putting all our trust in God.
In Proverbs 3:5 it says trust in the Lord with all your heart. We should put our trust in the one we can truly trust!
Put your trust in Him!!
